A little smaller than I was expecting, but was super easy to install.

The components of the lamp are good quality. The bulb sockets are ceramic. To put the cover on, one of the clips that hold it is spring loaded. So you slide the cover on two of the clips, then pull out on the third and slide the cover in place, then release the clip.

It think the alabaster glass looks nice too. A simple lamp with two bulbs.

Easy to install.
The quiet style is simple and just what we were hoping for. The polished brass looking clips are plastic and could break easily if one is not careful. While installing and cleaning glass I recommend gentle care to avoid breaking these clamps.
Also, we used candelabra light bulbs with these fixtures to make the bulbs shape not visible through the glass shade. Larger bulbs hug close to the shade and their silhouette is very obvious. The small bulbs look nicer in my opinion with the same amount of light beaming through.

I have grown more and more frustrated with our kitchen light. It had the double CFL style which was fine in the beginning because it claimed the bulbs would last 10 years. Baloney. They went out at least every 8-12 months and cost 3 times a regular energey efficient bulb. This last time the fixture itself finally went kaput so I decided it was time to just replace it totally. This fixture is a nice size for our relatively small kitchen. It takes two regular style light bulbs which actually makes the kitchen seem a little brighter now. The fixture itself it nice looking. Understated, but I am not looking for statement lighting in the kitchen. The best part is when the bulbs burn out I can replace them with $3 bulbs instead of $12 bulbs. I am very happy and would recommend this product. :)
