I like it, but the three extension rods are all 12 inches, would be nice if one was 6 inch.
I would have given this light a 5 star rating, but it came with the bottom screws missing. This is the second time that I ordered a Nuvo light. First time my island light came with 2 globes broken. Never again. Amazon cannot send me screws but only a complete new light. I do not want a light only to return everything but a small packet of 5 screws. Amazon was very good in helping me out, but do not buy a Nuvo light. Buy another brand.
This light was just installed this past week, and it's perfect for our space. It puts off a great deal of light (as I needed it to) since the lights are downward, but the glass globes are a little short for my taste. My husband says that it's just because of how high we have ours, but the light bulbs hang down lower than the glass globe so I'll be going to find shorter light bulbs this week.
All in all, I am very satisfied with the purchase.
I ordered this Nuvo chandelier to match an earlier ordered island light in the same collection. The island light fixture is more substantial in its look, with bigger diameter metal and this chandelier is not. I prefer that bigger look. The fixture is wide, I could of easily used the 3 light chandelier and it would of worked just as well in my space. The black finish is super cool and the alabaster shades really "pop" against it. They are replacing very 90ish brass and glass fixtures in my kitchen and a very reasonable update in doing so. The only issue, and it is common with each light, is that there is one glass shade that is "crooked" and can't be straightened. The part that the glass shade is attached to is "not square" and no matter how you try, it won't screw on and stay level. The island light is less noticeable than the chandelier but for the price point, I will live with it. So much better than what was there.
We hung this from our 20 ft ceiling, in the entrance way, and it is so beautiful! It is really elegant! We put a large medalion on the ceiling too so the chandelier really draws your attention up. The chain that came with it was a little short, so we have to get a longer one from home depot, but that was no big deal. The chandelier is not too plain, and not too busy. HIGHLY recommend this!
